Key of E major.

Probably one of the more annoying keys when it comes to music. I honestly think that the only instruments that could possibly benefit from this are strings... especially violins.

This just goes to show that I get very frustrated when there's more than two sharps in the key signature of a piece.
Tempo on "Your Hand In Mine" is fairly straightforward, 6/8 time and beats one and two are in a general slow andante.

I have a year to learn it.
Spend two months per page and then the last four months putting it all together...
Shouldn't be that bad.

And again, I seem to be stuck in the typical rut when it comes to writing.
Nothing substantial to say.

Having to phone is both an aggravation and a blessing, because with all the free time I have, I can start playing piano more.
Maybe I'll add some more to my medley... But I have to find some songs that fit the overall theme. Not doing so well on that, seeing as I'm having difficulty actually identifying the theme. Is it a coming-of-age? A reflection of self? an expression of my feelings for someone?
It could be all of them. I'm not entirely sure.

Aggravations upon aggravations! One thing that bothers me.
People who think they're cool because they play guitar but can't read music to save their lives.
"What's that curvy shaped thing at the beginning of the lines?"
"That's a treble clef, genius."

Another thing I hate. People obsessing over other people.
What else do I hate, let me see here...
Middle school/early high school relationships.
Anyone who pronounces "nuclear" like "nuculer"
The way my Clothing Workshop teacher says "measure" with a long a.
When Ms. Morrison calls cookies 'biscuits'; Kevin and I crack up laughing every time.
Sinus headaches
Bad trips.
E minor key signature and all following progressive added sharps.

If I could find a competent teacher to help me play this song I would be pretty damn happy.

On my to-do list!
Watch the so-called "Dark Side of the Rainbow"
Watch "Across the Universe"
Watch the unrated version of "The Ruins"
(I'm choosing not to include this line for fear of getting in trouble)

Ugh.
I think now would be a good time to take some medicine before anything gets worse.

"Look around, choose your own ground... Balanced on the biggest wave, you race towards an early grave"

Nothing else to say really...
Until later, I suppose.
